Events are called Sessions or Games in Pickleheads.
Once you join a group (e.g. MVPC Round Robin), when an organizer creates a session, the organizer will invite players to join. This can be all players in the group, players with a certain rating in the group, etc.
Players who are invited will get notified by Pickleheads via email and/or app notification
Players who are invited to the session can accept, decline or ignore the invite
Initially, everyone is on the Waitlisted or Pending list
Two to three days prior to the session, the organizer will confirm players from the waitlist. A lottery will determine who is confirmed with members having priority
If someone drops out, waitlisted players will move into the confirmed list
Players who are confirmed will be notified by Pickleheads
The organizer will send either an email or a group chat through Pickleheads a day before the event. Players should check their email or the Pickleheads app often a day before the event for possible updates
Players can always remove themselves from the confirm list or the waitlist. See Canceling Sign Ups section for details
If the session is canceled, players will be notified via Pickleheads
